Yes — we always check Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) before any excavation work. We also visually inspect the site and take a cautious approach near known service locations.
Can you access tight spaces like side gates and small backyards?
Yes — we operate mini excavators and compact machinery for tight-access sites. We can typically access areas from 900mm wide, making us suitable for most residential backyard and side access jobs.
What's the difference between augering and trenching?
Trenching creates a long linear excavation for services like pipes and cables. Augering uses a rotating drill bit to bore cylindrical holes — used for footings, post holes, soil testing and screw pile installation.
Do you handle spoil removal after excavation?
Yes — spoil removal is included in our service. We remove all excavated material from site, leaving the area clean and ready for the next stage of your project.
